FHYC Purpose
The Fairfield Harbour Yacht Club, Ltd. is a 501 (c) (7) nonprofit organization incorporated under the laws of North Carolina with the following purposes:
- To conduct activities for the pleasure and recreation of the members of the corporation, and
- To promote yachting, the service of seamanship, social events among its members and safety on the waterways.
We facilitate water-related and community programs that are interactive, interesting, educational and informative for members and guests.
Our intent is to encourage good, fair sportsmanship in competitive racing events and in all organized programs for club members and invited area boaters.
Club activities are planned to promote participation of both power and sail boaters alike.
FHYC Mission
The mission of the Fairfield Harbour Yacht Club is to promote yachting, the service of seamanship, members social events and safety on the waterways in the pursuit of pleasure and recreation for our members.
